Im Juni 2006 geht es für den Rockpalast zum sechsten Mal zum Nürburgring in der Eifel. Am 4. Juni spielt auch das Alternative Hip Hop Projekt um den Multiinstrumentalisten Mike Skinner mit 93 anderen Künstlern wie Pharrell bei Rock am Ring. Die Idee des Projekts ist authentische Musik - von der Straße. "Blinded By The Lights" ist 2004 auf ihrem zweiten Album "A Grand Don't Come For Free" erschienen.
