Im Juni 2006 geht es für den Rockpalast zum sechsten Mal zum Nürburgring in der Eifel. Am 4. Juni spielt auch die englische Alternative Rockband Placebo um das Duo Brian Molko und Stefan Olsdal mit 93 anderen Bands wie She Wants Revenge bei Rock am Ring. Die Single "Every You Every Me" von ihrem 1998 erschienenen dritten Albums "Without You I'm Nothing". Sie ist auch Teil des Soundtracks vom Filmdrama "Eiskalte Engel" und wurde einer der größten Hits von Placebo.
