Daniel Junge
Daniel Junge ist ein Oscar-prämierter Dokumentarfilmer. Seine erste Dokumentation „Häuptlinge“ gewann den Großen Preis der Jury beim Tribeca Film Festival. „Iron Ladies of Liberia“ wurde beim Toronto Film Festival ausgezeichnet und weltweit von mehr als fünfzig Fernsehsendern ausgestrahlt. Sein dritter Film „They Killed Sister Dorothy“ gewann den Publikumspreis und den Preis der Jury beim South by Southwest Film Festival und erhielt 2010 eine Emmy-Nominierung für ausgezeichneten investigativen Journalismus.
Daniel Junges Wahlkampf-Film „Governor Booth“ wurde für einen Academy Award als bester dokumentarischer Kurzfilm 2010 nominiert. „Saving Face“ wurde ebenfalls für einen Oscar nominiert.
Daniel Junge lebt mit Frau, Tochter und seinem großen Hund in Colorado.
