Netiquette - English

Dear Visitors and Friends of WDRforyou,

We are delighted that you have joined our Facebook page and are taking part in the discussions. As our name suggests, we are doing this for you (WDRforyou!). Ands we have no wish to restrict discussion or delete postings, we would politely ask you to abide by the  following code of Netiquette:

1. We would ask that your comments remain respectful and open-minded. Tolerance of different opinions is of great importance to us. We also welcome postings onto our page which are both constructive and thought-provoking. Please also ensure that your comments are pertinent to the particular topic under discussion.

2. The information provided on our page is intended primarily for all people who, for whatever reason, have been forced to leave their native countries; some due to their political convictions, others due to their religion or ethnic background. Any form of discrimination, insults, verbal abuse or threats will not be tolerated. We attach great importance to this as our page is there for everybody, regardless of whether you've been in Germany for a long time or have only just arrived.

3. Attacks on human dignity, content which may prove harmful to young people and spam are also prohibited.

4. Furthermore, lies or falsehoods are not to be disseminated. Please ensure that the content of your comments and postings really does correspond to the truth before posting them to us.

5. No violation of the private sphere of other users or third parties in general will be tolerated.

6. No breach of German law will be tolerated.

7. Please keep your postings brief – comments over 1000 characters are not permitted.

Should you fail to comply with our code of Netiquette, we reserve the right to delete your comments.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation

The WDRforyou-Team
